Sorry, but by my books, neither JPII, nor John XXIII, nor Paul VI (however wonderful these Pope might have been) deserve to be canonized before Pius XII.
If the Vatican would just stop listening to liberal Jews and liberals in general and start to affirm its own heritage and the historical record, and canonize this man, it would be a strong sign that the Catholic Church is serious about the Faith and its Tradition again.

Please fix your heading. In Italian “nonno” when used in this context means 9th, but your story is not about Pius 9th but about Pius 12th.
The title is correct. It is not referring to Pius IX. Pius XII was affectionately referred to as Pio Nonno.
