Socialists in Spain stamp out free speech

Thursday, July 29th, 2010

Just when you thought the world couldn’t get any crazier, we break a new record on the dumb-ometer. It’s worse than dumb. It’s outright evil.

In Spain, a TV network called Intereconomia has just been fined by the socialist government for ads that allegedly “attack the dignity” of homosexuals.  Sounds pretty serious, eh?  So what horrible things did the TV network show in its ads?  After all, as Christians, we may disagree with the homosexual lifestyle, but we still want to show them respect.  So what heinous ads did the TV network show?

The real meaning of sex

Friday, July 23rd, 2010

Many people have the impression that the Catholic Church thinks sex is bad.  This belief may have been reinforced by some over-reactions by members of the Church to the abuses of sexuality that have occurred in the last 50 years.  However, the Church actually teaches that sexual union, when properly understood, is very good.  It is sacred, beautiful and glorious! NYC parish endorses homosexual lifestyle; Archbishop sends mixed signals

Thursday, July 15th, 2010

Something is afoul in the Archdiocese of New York.

St. Francis Xavier parish is clearly a gay-friendly parish.  While outreach efforts to the homosexual community are certainly laudable, they must be accompanied by a call to conversion and to abandon a lifestyle that is immoral and disordered.  Confirming someone in their sin is not an act of charity.

Unfortunately, St. Francis Xavier doesn’t challenge them to change their lifestyle and embrace the fullness of the Gospel.  What’s more, the Archbishop of New York, Timothy Dolan, is fully aware of the situation but is sending mixed signals about whether he endorses this practice.  The video below explains this disturbing and scandalous situation very clearly.

Please pray for St. Francis Xavier parish and Archbishop Timothy Dolan.

P.S.:  Here’s a link to the CNN report discussed in the video below.  Watch the video below first.

Gay Jackboot Kicks Catholic Prof Out of A Job

for just explaining what the Catholic position is and the rationale for it.

My friends, if this is not a perfect example of the totalitarian impulse of the Gay Agenda, I really don’t know what is.

Tolerance?  You must be joking.

Just as well…it’s better to be honest and have all our cards on the table.

Homosexualists Threaten Cathedral, Catholics

Thursday, June 17th, 2010

LYONS, June 17, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Approximately 200 young Catholics came to the defense of the Cathedral of Lyons, France, during a ”kiss-in” protest held by homosexuals in front of the building last month. The homosexuals reportedly came on the eve of the “World Day Against Homophobia” in May to kiss each other in front of the cathedral, presumably in protest against the Catholic Church’s 2,000-year-old condemnation of homosexual sex acts.  In a video recently released by ACI Prensa, the counter-protesters can be seen forming a line several layers deep in front of the cathedral, holding up crucifixes, the flag of Vatican City, and a large banner stating “No More Catholophobia.” They chanted slogans such as “Saint Jean (the Cathedral) is ours!” and “Europe, Youth, Christianity!” (more…)

A Bishop’s Gesture of Kindness to Gay Man Who Sued over Discrimination

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

PETERBOROUGH, ON, June 10, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A man who caused great turmoil in the Catholic Church in Canada has been shown kindness and forgiveness by the very Bishop against whom he launched a human rights complaint.  In June 2009, Jim Corcoran, a man who self-identifies as a ‘gay’ man, launched a complaint seeking $25,000 in damages from Peterborough Bishop Nicola De Angelis, after he and his homosexual partner were forbidden from continuing as altar servers at St. Michael’s Church in Cobourg.

It is believed that this was the first case in Canada to be accepted by a human rights tribunal relating to the internal governance of the Catholic Church. The case led to fears of serious repercussions for the Church’s freedom in Canada. Throughout the public scrutiny of the case, which gained international attention, the bishop remained firm in his resolve not to permit the human rights mechanism to interfere in Church matters.

However, in May Corcoran dropped the complaint without terms or conditions after meeting with the Bishop and praying with him.

Last Sunday, Bishop De Angelis said Mass in the troubled Cobourg parish and afterward went to the home of Jim Corcoran where he had supper with Corcoran and his mother.

Court ruling in case of lesbian vs. Christian Horizons is schizophrenic at best

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

The courts continue to insist that Christians must live “in the closet”.

To summarize this case quickly: a ministry called Christian Horizons used to require all their employees to sign a declaration to not engage in immoral activity, including homosexual relationships, as a condition of employment.  One of their employees, who had signed the declaration in 1995, was fired in 2000 when she entered such a relationship.  She filed a human rights complaint in 2008 and won (surprise, surprise).

Christian Horizons appealed to a real court, which sort of overturned the ruling.  Kinda.  The judge ruled that a Christian ministry has the right to include a code of conduct as part of its job requirements. Sounds like a victory for Christian Horizons, right?  But the judge went on to say that the ministry should not have fired the lesbian.  Huh?  (more…)

Mediation doesn’t solve Cobourg parish dispute

Wednesday, May 19th, 2010

The bishop of Peterborough, 12 parishioners at St. Michael’s parish in Cobourg, Ont., and former altar server Jim Corcoran failed to come to an agreement at an Ontario Human Rights Tribunal mediation session May 11. Without agreement the question of whether Corcoran was unfairly dismissed from serving at Mass because he is gay will now go to adjudication. The tribunal has yet to work out a timeline that would set a date for the adjudication. Beyond that, the parties have only agreed not to talk about the mediation. “I think we’re under a confidentiality agreement, so I’m not commenting,” Corcoran told The Catholic Register the morning after the May 11 mediation session. Corcoran complained to the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal last July that Bishop Nicola De Angelis had unfairly removed him from a volunteer position as an altar server because he is gay. De Angelis claims he asked St. Michael’s pastor Fr. Allan Hood to renew all the volunteer positions and committees at the parish as a way of renewing the life of the parish and putting aside divisions and disputes that had arisen. Corcoran’s complaint to the rights tribunal had asked for a $20,000 donation to charity from each of 12 St. Michael’s parishioners who had written to De Angelis complaining about gay altar servers. Corcoran asked for as much as $25,000 from the diocese to cover legal costs. Corcoran wanted to be restored as an altar server. He also asked that De Angelis apologize and preach a sermon at St. Michael’s on evils of spreading rumours and innuendo that feed hate and discrimination.

If I were bishop, not only would I pledge to ensure that no openly immoral parishoner were an altar server, I would specifically and harshly denounce homosexual behaviour, citing the Catechism 10 ways to Sunday. And I would do it at the closest parish to where Corcoran lives too.  I would also preach on the freedom of association and how homosexualists need a basic education in learning how they cannot force people to associate with them against their wills!

We do not accept your behaviour and never will.  Even if our blood should spill in opposing it.

Ontario Christian Ministry Wins Appeal against Human Rights Tribunal Ruling

Tuesday, May 18th, 2010

TORONTO, May 18, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – In a landmark ruling on May 14, the Ontario Divisional Court overturned an Ontario Human Rights Tribunal (OHRT) decision against Christian Horizons, a faith-based ministry that operates more than 180 residential homes for people with developmental disabilities….

Originally, Christian Horizons was not going to fight this. They were just going to lay down and die.  But then everyone figured that if we don’t fight now, we’re fried for good. And look what happened?!  Show some backbone and SURPRISE!, we actually won one.  Let this be a lesson to all of us. Never back down from homosexualist intimidation to force us to abandon our Faith.

The Definitive Paper Showing Homosexuality at Root of the Sex Abuse Crisis

Monday, April 19th, 2010

April 19, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – A must-read paper produced by Human Life International Research Director Brian Clowes has closed the book on the question of whether homosexuality in the priesthood is a root cause of the clerical sexual abuse crisis.  Citing numerous research studies, Clowes demonstrates that homosexuality is strongly linked to sexual abuse of minors, and that celibacy is definitely not a cause of pedophilia.

Clowes cites studies, including:

- Homosexual Alfred Kinsey, the USA’s preeminent sexual researcher, found in 1948 that 37 percent of all male homosexuals admitted to having sex with children under 17 years old.

- A recent study published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior found that “The best epidemiological evidence indicates that only 2.4% of men attracted to adults prefer men.  In contrast, around 25-40% of men attracted to children prefer boys.  Thus, the rate of homosexual attraction is 6-20 times higher among pedophiles.”

- A study in the Archives of Sexual Behavior found that, “Pedophilia appears to have a greater than chance association with two other statistically infrequent phenomena.  The first of these is homosexuality … Recent surveys estimate the prevalence of homosexuality, among men attracted to adults, in the neighborhood of 2%.  In contrast, the prevalence of homosexuality among pedophiles may be as high as 30-40%.”

- A study in the Journal of Sex Research noted that “… the proportion of sex offenders against male children among homosexual men is substantially larger than the proportion of sex offenders against female children among heterosexual men … the development of pedophilia is more closely linked with homosexuality than with heterosexuality.”

- A study of 229 convicted child molesters published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior found that “eighty-six percent of [sexual] offenders against males described themselves as homosexual or bisexual.”

For the references for these findings please see Clowes full paper here.

Frothing-At-The-Mouth-Anti-Catholic-Bigotry Wants To Take Down Pope At Any Cost

Friday, April 16th, 2010

The latest instalment of anti-Catholic bigotry comes courtesy of Janet Bagnall of the Montreal Gazette.

Here is my response to her:

Dear Ms. Bagnall:

We commend you for helping us clear out the heteromosexualist filth in the church and its enablers in the Episcopacy and the Vatican.   We have been trying to clear out the sexual garbage for decades, but unfortunately, until now, we have met with little success.  So we thank you sincerely for exposing our infidelity to the Gospel of Life.  It will mean that the reformers’ job becomes much easier to push for changes within the Church, although, admittedly, they are not going to be the reforms you would likely approve of.

There is, however, one small point of correction I would like to offer you:  it does you no good to “convict” Benedict for “covering up” child abuse as you have attempted to do with the Associated Press story. The Associated Press Story was full of errors and distortions (as was the New York Times’ article some time before).  In the future, therefore, you need to get your facts straight and stop smearing and libelling the one man who has been largely responsible for cleaning out the stables at the Vatican.

No faithful Catholic, of course, believes that the current exhibition of  media savagery against the Pope has anything really to do with concern for ”the children” or the truth, for that matter.  This is simply about falsely accusing an innocent man who is largely responsible for the Catholic Church’s reform in this area, and using these lies and slanders to undermine the Pope and the Church’s teaching on moral issues like abortion and homosexuality.

That’s what this is about and everyone knows it.

Regards,

John Pacheco

Homosexuals & Atheists are starting to wake up

Thursday, April 15th, 2010

As a gay man who is also a Buddhist I never thought I’d vote for the BNP. But having friends attacked by packs of Muslim youths simply for being gay I’m changing my opinion and will be voting for the BNP since nobody else will protect us. The BNP may not be exactly pro-gay but unlike the Muslims they don’t want to kill us.

(Source)

My friend, understand this well: the only thing between you and a Machete is Christianity.

Even Dawkins is starting to wake up (same source)….

Richard Dawkins views Christianity as a bulwark against Islam
Christianity is in decline in Europe as a whole, and has collapsed in Britain in particular, leaving even the most committed atheists wondering what is going to fill the spiritual vacuum.

From The Times:
“Even among the world’s most famous atheists, the crisis of faith among Christians in Europe has been met with concern.

Richard Dawkins, author of The God Delusion, said: “There are no Christians, as far as I know, blowing up buildings. I am not aware of any Christian suicide bombers. I am not aware of any major Christian denomination that believes the penalty for apostasy is death. I have mixed feelings about the decline of Christianity, in so far as Christianity might be a bulwark against something worse.”

Sexual Identity Roulette: Round and round it goes, where it stops no one knows.

Wednesday, April 14th, 2010

While it is true that a wide-ranging report into the child abuse sex scandal was largely perpetrated by homosexual-acting predators on  adolescent boys (ephebophilia) – a fact which is really not highlighed in recent press reports (for obviously politically correct reasons) – the study in question makes a bizarre distinction between (presumably heterosexual) men who commit homosexual acts on children on the one hand, and men who specifically identify themselves as homosexual as a sexual identity on the other hand.

The sexual czars of our age, you see, have insisted that identity does not necessarily identify with actions.  So, in other words, you may committ exclusively homosexual acts, but you might not be a homosexual per se.  That particular demographic is determined by how you identify yourself on a sex-survey.  What, I wonder, do we call a man who identifies himself as a heterosexual but actually engages in homosexual sex only?  Have the sex researchers come up with a name for this particular identity yet? I’m not sure if it fits any of the available sex categories. (You’ll notice, too, that those inventing these categories can’t really pin down what they mean either).

The homosexualists are very upset that people might not accept these distinctions and simply label predators with how they behave.  Then again, if we are not offending the homosexuals, are we not offending heterosexuals who committ homosexual acts? Don’t they deserve to be protected from such harsh judgement? Should heterosexuals-who-commit-exclusively-homosexual-acts be the only unprotected group in our society? Maybe it’s time that that these heteromosexuals (for lack of a better term) have a militant lobby group as well and defend these unfair caricatures?  Or maybe, it’s not all heteromosexuals who should be condemned but only some of them who are to blame.  But if that is the case, then what is the point of making any kind of generalization?  These crimes, of course, just happened for no apparent reason, except for individual failure.  Apparently, there was no – and cannot be any - kind of sexual disorder going on whatsoever.  It’s just the way “we are.”

You see, then, how every group can be protected — except the children.

Come one…

Tuesday, April 13th, 2010

come all.

It’s open season on the Catholic Church for “protecting” homosexual priest-predators, but the State sees no contradiction in doing this?  On the contrary, it’s all about equality.

Vatican’s Number Two Official: Homosexuality is the Cause of the Sex Abuse Crisis

Monday, April 12th, 2010

SANTIAGO, Chile, April 12, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – The Vatican’s number two official, Secretary of State Tarcisio Bertone, said today that the Church’s problems with pedophile priests have not been caused by celibacy, but by homosexuality.

“Many psychologists, many psychiatrists, have demonstrated that there is no relationship between celibacy and pedophilia,” said Bertone in a press conference in Chile today. “But many others have demonstrated, and have told me recently, that there is a relationship between homosexuality and pedophilia.”

“That is the truth, this is the problem,” added Bertone.

Noting that pedophilia is a phenomenon that “affects all categories of people, and priests to a lesser degree in percentage terms,” Bertone reportedly said that such conduct “is very grave, it is scandalous.”

Bertone added that, in order to address sex abuse cases, “the Holy Father is going to begin other initiatives, and will not fail to amaze us with new initiatives with respect to the topic we are discussing.”

Quote:
Hurray Thank you New York Times! New initiatives by the Holy Father…and it’s all thanks to you!

Although the mental health establishment in the United States habitually denies any relationship between child sex abuse and homosexuality, numerous studies have shown a statistical link between the two.

A report on the U.S. sex abuse crisis, done at the behest of the US Conference of Catholic Bishops in 2004 by the John Jay College of Criminal Justice, found that the vast majority of victims in priest sex abuse cases were adolescent males.
