   If anyone is silly enough to think that Obama is not vindictive enough to fina a way to kick Cardinal Dolan in the teeth for this act of defiance, that person is an innocent child. Obama absolutely will look for a way to kick Cardinal Dolan in the teeth. We must get rid of Obama and the sooner, the better.

   Didn’t I tell you he’d make the best of his opportunity? I truly wish that we had more bishops like +Dolan. Our Church would certainly benefit from having leaders who are so willing to find opportunities to preach the truth – even in strange places like political conventions.

   I think ++Dolan’s bold prayer has successfully avoided giving the impression that he endorses the Democrat platform, but I’m not sure much else was accomplished on the purely human plane. Still, it took a lot of guts for him to go into the lion’s den and say those things. It was the only way that his appearance would not cause scandal, and he pulled it off. Good for him.
