keep the cattle in line.

One new cowboy converted to the cause every day. Sooner or later….the experiment of the past 40 years is going to be regarded like shag carpet and orange polyester suits.

Good article, but couldn’t help noticing an ad about Herbert W Armstrong, the Anti-Catholic, non-trinitarian founder of the Worldwide Church of God.. Oh well.

nevertheless, I am in favour of this. Before i was Catholic, I went to a couple of Anglican churches where there was communion rails, and reception was to be done on the knees, in both species, either in the hand or on the tongue.

To this day, i have yet to attend a catholic mass where communion rails are present.

Holy Rosary Church in Portland, Oregon, has altar rails and I remember loving to go forward for Communion when I lived there. The gesture of having to kneel really made Holy Communion a time set apart, you were conscious of taking God into you. Bring the rail back everywhere!
