I believe personal morality should be framed by the individual, and while I agree passionately with marital fidelity I would not want to be part of a college that tried to impose such an idea from above. (Source)

This comment, along with many others, prove that Coren no longer has much of any kind of credibility as a Catholic.  He has effectively personalized morality to individual tastes and refused to accept the idea that we are not only accountable to ourselves, but also to the larger Christian community and ultimately to God.

And to claim that Gays have to “forever refrain from sex” is some kind of boogeyman and totally unrealistic, Coren is dismissing the sacrifices of many people who choose to be chaste their whole lives in accordance with what Jesus taught – whether single, religious, or clerical.

“Many of us donated our life savings. … This is our home,” Li Xile, a local from Wenzhou, told the Times.

When the liberals get their chance here in the West, they’ll do the same.  The gentle, tolerant and diversity crowd that they are.

Right on.

The answer is no.  Those anti-Christian bigots at the Law Society of Upper Canada say so.

So the Law Society of Upper Canada (LSUC) which regulates lawyers in Ontario has recently declared that if you are a Christian and seek to associate with other Christians and do so in forming a law school, you cannot be admitted to practice law in society.   And why?  What is the reason for such a blatant persecution of people who don’t worship the same-sex god as the liberal elites of the legal establishment?

Jonathan Kay has an interesting article on the subject here.

I also have something to ask the LSUC.  I am sure they are familiar with this argument.  It goes something like this:

How is a Christian’s practice of Godly sex a threat to Gay Canada?  Have we not heard that refrain before?  You know, “How is Gay Sex a threat to you?”  Remember that one?

It appears that the LSUC is just spitting mad that anyone would abstain from sex for any reason.  They see this abstention as some kind of threat to their own promiscuous ways, and they seek to enforce their sexual ideology by ensuring that there is no public association which consensually demurs from the prevailing sexual dogma of our legal high priests.

Tolerance and diversity?  You must be joking.

I’m not sure if totalitarianism has a sexual orientation, but I think we can all see what it is if it indeed has one.

Most vexing of all is Mozilla’s attempt to present this forced resignation as if it is consistent with an embrace of diversity and openness. Its public statements have been an embarrassment of illogic, as I suspect the authors of those statements well know.  (Source)

Not all liberals, apparently, agree with the Jackboot.

Sad days for Mozilla!

Comments 2 Comments »

Pardon this interruption of your TruthRevolt experience. Mozilla recently forced its CEO, Brendan Eich, to resign over his personal support for traditional marriage. The firing followed a vicious smear campaign against Eich by dating website OKCupid, in which OKCupid blocked Mozilla users from visiting their website.  We would therefore prefer that our users not use Mozilla software to access TruthRevolt, given Mozilla’s crackdown on political and religious positions held by millions of Americans. To sign our petition vowing to uninstall or cease using Mozilla Firefox, Mozilla users can still click here. Going forward we urge you to consider a different web browser for accessing TruthRevolt.org. (Source)

Socon or Bust has decided to block access to its blog for any user who is visiting us using Mozilla’s FireFox.  Socon or Bust calls on all Catholic Bloggers and other bloggers of good will who value marriage and freedom of speech to stand against Mozilla and block them.

What You Can Do

It is important that people give Mozilla pushback–and a lot of it–because the less people suffer the consequences of this kind of behavior, the more it will be invited in the future.

You want Christians to experience a new and even worse persecution than what they’re facing now? Do nothing.

You want to fight back? Here’s what you can do . . .

1) Mozilla has a web page where you can leave feedback on its Firefox browser.

THAT WEB PAGE IS HERE.

At the time of this writing, the feedback in the last day has been 93% negative, and many of the comments are withering. You can read them here.

2) You can tell them of your displeasure by social media, including:

Greetings Firefox User!

Unfortunately because you tried to access Socon or Bust using Mozilla’s FireFox, we cannot permit you to read our Blog (note:  our older posts are still accessible, but this will be inaccessible to you in the near future as well).  In April 2014, Mozilla forced its CEO, Brendan Eich, to resign over his personal support for traditional marriage. The firing followed a vicious smear campaign against Eich by dating website OKCupid, in which OKCupid blocked Mozilla users from visiting their website.  We would therefore prefer that our users not use Mozilla software to access Socon or Bust, given Mozilla’s crackdown on political and religious positions held by millions of North Americans.

Please consider using another Browser to access Socon or Bust, as well as dumping Firefox completely for all your browsing activities.  Unless we stand against this tyranny now, the price later will be much, much greater.  Thanks for your support and consider signing the pledge to dump Firefox.

What Else You Can Do

It is important that people give Mozilla pushback–and a lot of it–because the less people suffer the consequences of this kind of behavior, the more it will be invited in the future.

“Mozilla believes both in equality and freedom of speech. Equality is necessary for meaningful speech. And you need free speech to fight for equality,” Mozilla Executive Chairwoman Mitchell Baker wrote. “Figuring out how to stand for both at the same time can be hard.”

The logic of a liberal always astounds me.  There is no such thing as free speech for a Gay Stormtrooper.  Now, they want to ensure that you are banned from earning a living, should you dare -  in the most innocuous way – to oppose what they stand for.  They operate on one simple premise. It’s not logic or common sense or nature or based on any philosophy.  It’s simply based on instilling FEAR and promoting genuine hatred for those who dare oppose them.

This was never about marriage. It was about forcing submission to the Gaylords.

The good news is that there very well might be a formal division in the Christian churches (not totally unlike we have in China today):  those who lick the Gay Jackboot and are recognized by the State’s “Human Rights” Commissars…and those who don’t.

At least the dividing line will be a lot clearer than it is today.  For that we can be grateful.  The Lord is going to sift us through suffering.  That’s the only way to fix our collective pathetic witness and boot the pretend Christians from our midst.

Sure enough, as Socon or Bust predicted yesterday, Louise Mailloux has apologized.

Kinda.

Various media are reporting that she says she’s sorry if anyone was offended by her comparison of baptism and circumcision to rape. That’s the extent of her apology. In other words, she hasn’t changed her mind. She hasn’t realized that pouring water on someone’s head has no correlation whatsoever to being violently abused. Nope. She’s just sorry anybody was offended.

So her underlying views are unchanged. Is that someone you want to have authority to vote laws in this country? If not, take 30 seconds to sign this petition. The number of signatures is rising fast. The best part is that Ms. Mailloux receives an email each time somebody signs, so she must be freaking out by now.

And the Premier defends it! What does that say about the PQ?

Let me tell you : I know women who have been raped. It’s hell. This PQ candidate is committing the most extreme insult and banalization of women who have been raped. I think she’ll be apologizing publicly before the end of the week.

MONTREAL — Pauline Marois has defended a Parti Quebecois candidate who compared baptism and circumcision to rape.

Louise Mailloux, who is running for the PQ in the Montreal riding of Gouin, has also written in the past that a tax on kosher and halal foods helps to fund religious wars.

Mailloux, who is a philosophy professor, made the rape comparison in an essay on religious neutrality. It appeared in the book, Laïcité ça s’impose!, that was published in 2011.

Mailloux made clear this week that she stands by the statement.

The Scots are showing us how exactly gay “marriage” works for Catholic schools.

Gays out of the closet. Catholics into the closet.

First step to the underground my Catholic friends.

Hope you enjoy the trip.

When everyone else is bending the knee or giving the salute to the Gay Stormtroopers, be different.

Don’t be like the mindless mob who go along…stand for the Church, for the Truth, for Jesus.

Defend Marriage.  And pay whatever price is demanded of you.  You are only here for a short time anyway.  Be on the right side of the Lord with the sheep, not on the Left with the goats.

A&E Caves: Unbending Fraternally-Correcting Duck Commander Back on Television

Thank God for Capitalism because that and that alone has saved us from the Gay Stormtroopers shutting down biblical truth and freedom of speech.

Money talks and BS walks and A&E knows it.  They know where their bread is buttered.

December 26th is the feast of St. Stephen, the first martyr of the Church. It’s somewhat fitting that the day after we contemplate the delicacy of Christ in a manger, we now get back to reality and honour a man who gave his life for Christ.

Reading the story of St. Stephen in Acts 6-7 made me realize just how appropriate his witness is for today, in these times of political correctness pushed to the extreme of quasi-totalitarianism.

It starts with some dudes who pick an argument with Stephen. These dudes “belonged to the synagogue of the Freedmen (as it was called).” How appropriate. Today’s secularists are so eager to proclaim how they’ve been “freed” from the straight-jacket of religion. Little do they realize that they’ve enslaved themselves to all the possessions and pleasures they long for and can’t live without. They have no real freedom, because freedom means you’re able to say “yes” or “no”. If you can’t resist your urges and impulses, then you’re enslaved to them.
