Paycheck in Pro-Life Activism
Last night my family and I hosted about 9 Ottawa movers and shakers in the pro-life community. The occasion was a little fundraiser for James Shaw and Ruth Lobo Shaw of CCBR. We hosted it in our home.
To be honest, it was quite an effort to get even that number of people out to our little event. Apparently, James and Ruth have nine gigs around the city between now and Christmas doing their presentation, promoting CCBR and scaring up some cash. That explains why I got so many people saying, “I’m already going to see them at my parish”.
Socon or Bust was almost a bust itself if some late registrants didn’t show up.
I met some interesting people I had not yet met before and hooked up with some old friends too. I even started making some connections for my little Vatican II conference and, boy oh boy, I’m getting really excited about that too. Lots of sugar plums dancing in my head about it.
Anyhow, the evening was a cozy, little intimate affair with James and Ruth and their little baby William who my daughters adored all night.
Ruth and James did a 45 minute presentation which was very informative and emotional – now that they have a little one.
Socon or Bust encourages everyone to get out to one of their presentations before they go back to Calgary. Do your part and separate yourself from your cash by donating to their efforts.
CCBR is the grit of the pro-life movement, and we have to support the grit if we are ever going to win this. And we will win.
Like Al Davis always said: “Win, baby…just win.”

Shove socialist politics and the pro-abortion groups who grovel after it.
D&P Catholics: Get your own puck, stop wasting our money, and cease and desist from bitching about governments who know you’re just a pressure group.
Instead, do something useful: Build and Feed and Witness to Jesus Christ and drop Karl Marx. It’s getting old.
Paycheck in Development & Peace
I wish that I could say that I am disappointed and sad about this. In a certain sense I am. Lots of mislead people. Bad catechesis over the past 50 years and the rooster is coming home to roost.
Another part of me says: Right on! The socialist experiment in a fraudulent form of social justice has long plagued the Church. And it’s finally coming to an end.
Thanks be to God.

New York City Continues to Seek Eviction of Churches Worship Services in public buildings on weekendsPosted on November 28th, 2012 by Paycheck in Religious Persecution
When the economic collapse comes and Obama doesn’t show up for a photo-op with public money to bail people out, the good liberal citizens of the U.S. won’t be able to count on Christian churches to help them out because they’ve been barred by the Bigots.
How’s that Big Government workin’ for ya?
In the upcoming conference I’m planning, we’ll be addressing the liturgical upheaval that followed the aftermath of Vatican II.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Kwantlen Pro-Life Student Group Denied Right to Exist on their University Campus
LANGLEY, B.C. (November 27 2012) – Students at Kwantlen Polytechnic University have obtained legal representation to fight a recent rejection by the student union of their application to form a pro-life club on campus.
The Kwantlen Student Association (KSA), which represents the students from the university’s four Vancouver Metro area campuses, explained its decision by stating that the creation of the Protectores Vitae club “is clearly against our own standing policy on Abortion and a Woman’s Right to Choose.”
“We’re very disappointed,” said Oliver Capko, president of the pro-life group. “Our student association is supposed to represent us and not censor us for having a different position.”
“They are in violation of their own policies,” stated Anastasia Pearse, the Western Campus Coordinator for National Campus Life Network, an organization which supports pro-life students across Canada. “Their own policy states that the association can’t censor or interfere with a club, even if it disagrees with its beliefs. Free speech and debate, even on controversial issues, should not be stifled at a university simply because those in positions of authority are pro-choice.”
It also appears that the association may have made amendments on October 26 to Article 2 of its Club Procedures Policy in an attempt to create a stronger basis for denying status. The changes significantly increased the ways in which the student association could justify the denial of club recognition.
The club is demanding that the Kwantlen Student Association grant them status. The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms (JCCF) has taken the case and is acting on behalf of Protectores Vitae.
“We sincerely hope that it will not be necessary for Mr. Capko and other students to sue the KSA,” said John Carpay, lawyer and President of the JCCF. “The student union has no legal authority to impose its own views about a moral or political issue on all students by denying club status to students who disagree with the student union. The student union has an obligation to treat all students equally and fairly, without denying the right of students to freely associate on the Kwantlen campus and form the clubs of their own choosing.”

Remember, your social justice dollars help propagate this madness.
Well, all that we did was rip off the Emperor’s clothes and make everyone look.
D&P was never Catholic to begin with. If everything was kosher, there would never have been any controversy. But it wasn’t kosher.
D&P is not Catholic.
It’s time to pack up the tents and move on to the next town.
And as for the bishops….they should do the right thing and move them along.
Campagne Vie reaction here.
Paycheck in LifeStyle Choices
When we kept our pants on and showed some sexual restraint and decorum, life was simpler.
Unlike the new Obama state (for now at any rate), consequences still happen in the real world.
Sick story here.
CBC never lets the facts get in its way…if ideology is on the line.
If you believe what you like in the gospels, and reject what you don’t like, it is not the gospel you believe, but yourself.
Squeaker in Pro-Life Activism
These are the amazing results routinely obtained by the Canadian Centre for Bioethical Reform (CCBR). They clearly have a winning strategy on how to end abortion in this country, and it’s starting to bear fruits.
How soon can the culture change? That depends on you. The CCBR has the strategy and the tools, but their reach is limited because their resources are modest. If you want to support this movement, please come to the intimate little gathering that Socon or Bust will be hosting in support of the CCBR’s James Shaw and Ruth Lobo Shaw on Thursday November 29 at 7:30 pm. They will share more uplifting success stories of their work for the unborn.
The powerful video in question can be seen below.

Paycheck in Contraception, Islam
We social conservatives who oppose contraception (and we are a minority in social conservatism), won’t really be able to tell the liberals and the unconverted social conservatives “we told you so”.
Because when the critical tipping point comes (which in some countries like Denmark, for instance, the tipping point has come), there won’t be enough liberals or “social conservatives” to matter. They’ll be a small ghetto, representative of the .5 kids they averaged in their lifetimes. The jig will be up and there will be no point in trying to get these people to wake up because they won’t matter politically or demographically. Our “negotiation” will not be with a drugged-up, sexed-up post Christian population but with the Shariah gang.
The Liberals are very content to destroy and bankrupt the last vestiges of Western civlization and they really don’t care that “future” liberals (however dwindling that number may be) will be dhimmis. As long as they get their sex, drugs, and rock ‘n roll now, who cares about tomorrow?
When you don’t have children, why should you look beyond the next sterile sexual encounter?
I guess the media’s Religion of Peace isn’t all that peaceful.
