…on freedom and the common good.  Although we’re all hot for free speech, we must be careful to understand that, like everything in life, things aren’t always so clear and that what may seem to be the answer is really not.

If we do not have truth as the final object, freedom of speech will enslave us just as much as the Star Chambers….

I hope to be finished by end of week…

Mr. Speaker, my question is for the Justice Minister. One of his staff, Dean Steacy of the Canadian Human Rights Commission, has admitted under oath that, as part of his job, he joined a neo-Nazi website called the “Stormfront”, and posted racist remarks there. Can the Minister please explain why taxpayers’ dollars are paying someone in his department to join neo-Nazi groups to spread bigotry?Mr. Speaker, can the Minister tell us: was this a rogue act by a single hate-monger who infiltrated the human rights commission? Or did others at the commission approve of this race-baiting strategy, too? Did the minister himself know? Or did he turn a blind eye to state-sponsored bigotry in his own department?

Mr. Speaker, given the confession of the Minister’s employee, Dean Steacy, that the CHRC plants racist evidence that the CHRC then uses to investigate and convict others, and given the proof that the CHRC’s most prolific complainant has planted racist, sexist remarks, will the Minister launch an independent review of all so-called “hate message” cases that the CHRC has ever conducted to see if they were all corrupted by planted evidence? I have three upcoming interviews:On Sunday, I’ll be on the John Batchelor show, out of Los Angeles, at 7:20 p.m. Pacific Time. You can listen online, here.

On Monday, I’ll be on TVO’s The Agenda with Steve Paikin at 8 p.m. Eastern Time. Details here.

On Tuesday, I’ll join Mark Steyn on The O’Reilly Factor. Website here.

Let me know what you think of them.

This is going to be great. I am sure Bill will play some of Levant’s remarks at the Kangaroo Kourt.

If you can’t get an audience here in HRC land, go yonder to the Americans, they’ll roll with it.

At least the U.S. has a real media.

Mark Steyn, Ezra Levant, and Bill O’Reilly: It’s the holy trinity of conservatism.

Perhaps a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, folks. Don’t miss all the fun as the trio kick some plump, juicy HRC ass.

Not sure what is better: watching these guys throw around the HRC carcass or treasuring the political constipation of the Left as conservatives come to the defense of free speech while Leftist just won’t.

In the three decades of the Canadian “Human Rights” Tribunal’s existence, not a single “defendant” has been “acquitted.” Would you bet on Maclean’s bucking this spectacular 100 per cent conviction rate? “Sentence first, verdict afterwards,” declares the queen in Alice In Wonderland. Canada’s not quite there yet, but at the Human Rights Commission, it’s “Verdict first, trial afterwards.” So I’m guilty and Ken Whyte’s guilty and Maclean’s is guilty because that’s the only verdict there is.Who has availed themselves of the “human rights” protected by Section XIII? In its entire history, over half of all cases have been brought by a sole “complainant,” one Richard Warman. Indeed, Mr. Warman has been a plaintiff on every single Section XIII case before the federal “human rights” star chamber since 2002 — and he’s won every one. That would suggest that no man in any free society anywhere on the planet has been so comprehensively deprived of his human rights. Well, no. Mr. Warman doesn’t have to demonstrate that he’s been deprived of his human rights, only that it’s “likely” (i.e. “highly un-”) that someone somewhere will be deprived of some right sometime. Who is Richard Warman? What’s his story? Well, he’s a former employee of the Canadian Human Rights Commission: an investigator. Same as Shirlene McGovern.Isn’t there something a little odd in a supposedly necessary Canadian federal “human rights” system used all but exclusively by one lone Canadian who served as a long-time employee of that system? Why should Richard Warman be the only citizen to have his own personal inquisition? You can hardly blame the Canadian Islamic Congress and the Islamic Supreme Council of Canada and no doubt the Supreme All-Powerful Islamic Executive Council of Swift Current, Sask., for now figuring they’d like a piece of the human rights action.  (MacLeans.ca)

The sad thing about this whole joke is not that the CHRC has become the virtual personal inquisition of one man (in terms of S.13 cases).  These things can happen from time to time.  It’s that the Left (the media, the politicians, and all of the little Castros out there) allow it to be so with their tacit support. They sit there on their blogs watching and smirking.  Some may even express some hesitation on how these Star Tribunals are behaving, but for the most part, they won’t get their hands dirty in fighting for freedom.

Now, there’s a big surprise, eh? Where have we seen that before?  Isn’t it the story of their small, little pathetic lives?  Where there is a sacrifice to be paid – even if it’s something that they themselves cherish – they would prefer somebody else do the fighting.

CHRC operative Dean Steacy is a Free Dominioner
Earlier this week in a Toronto federal courtroom a lawyer representing the Canadian Human Rights Commission surrendered the commission’s position that it should be able to continue to [self-servingly] conceal information behind Section 37 of the Canadian Evidence Act. The commission made this move because they knew the judge’s decision would go against them and they didn’t want future operations bound by a potentially restrictive ruling. This opened to the public testimony given in a closed CHRC tribunal by one of the commission’s operatives, Dean Steacy. Part of that testimony is reproduced here:

Quote:
1. Do any investigators post on Stormfront.org?I am not aware of any investigator other than me, who has posted on Stormfront.2. Getting back to Jadewarr, do Commission employees sign up accounts on Stormfront, under pseudonyms such as “Jadewarr”?

I used the Jadewarr email address to create an account on Stormfront. I am not aware whether or not other investigators have created other accounts on Stormfront.

3. Do you know who Jadewarr is?

Jadewarr is not a person, it is an email address and a user account on Stormfront.org. I created the Jadewarr email address on yahoo.ca and the Jadewarr account on Stormfront. I have used the Jadewarr email address and the Jadewarr account on Stormfront on occasion, in the course of investigating complaints. I am not aware of anyone else having used the Jadewarr email address or account.

4. To your knowledge, is Jadewarr a Commission employee?

See above.

5. As part of your duties, have you ever signed up with a message board and made postings?

Yes, I have done so using the Jadewarr account in investigating section 13 complaints.

One of the many questions remaining to be answered is why did CHRC operative Dean Steacy register at Free Dominion using his official Section 13 complaint screen name ‘jadewarr’ on April 5, 2006?View Dean Steacy’s Free Dominion public profile. (Note he used the same official investigative email address jadewarr@yahoo.ca he spoke of in his testimony.)

According to the documents Connie and I were served from the Canadian Human Rights Commission last summer, Marie-Line Gentes did not bring Free Dominion to the commission’s attention with her bogus complaint against us until September 29th, 2006, over five months after Dean Steacy began his ‘investigation’ by registering as jadewarr. It may be coincidence, but the posting that ultimately caused poor Ms. Gentes such distress happened to be posted just two weeks after Dean Steacy began his complaintless investigation of Free Dominion by registering.

Why was Dean Steacy investigating Free Dominion half a year before any complaint was filed? And is there a connection between Dean Steacy and Marie-Line Gentes? (FreeDominion.ca)

Careful now, everyone. There could be one of these HRC operatives on your discussion board or blog, watching you, baiting you, or getting someone to be offended on their behalf.

In the course of his interrogation, Mr. Levant also pointed out that the time and money Canada’s “human rights” pseudo-courts cost publishers has a broader “chilling effect” — on all the stories that will never see the light of day because at the back of some editor’s mind is the calculation of the cost of fending off Shirlene McGovern. And, at the end of this exchange, Agent McGovern, licensed to chill, looked blandly across the table and shrugged: “You’re entitled to your opinions, that’s for sure.”

No, sorry. That cliché is no longer operative in Canada. Today you’re only entitled to your opinions if Agent McGovern says you are — “for sure.” (Mark Shea)

What was she thinking when she said that anyway?  Had she had a temporary brain hemorage or something?!  Duh.  No, Citizen McGovern, he is certainly NOT entitled to his opinions or else he wouldn’t be there.  As the Brits say, “Is she daft?”

Elmasry’s complaint that Maclean’s discriminated against him as a Muslim and the Muslim community at large by publishing Steyn’s essay, described as “flagrantly anti-Muslim” is frivolous and false.

Elmasry is incapable of grasping what freedom means – he is on public record for insisting all adult Israelis are legitimate targets for Palestinian suicide bombers, only apologizing under duress – since he comes from a culture where freedom is mostly non-existent.

But it is outrageous that the HRCs are willing to entertain such frivolous complaints as Alberta’s did in accepting a similar complaint against Ezra Levant, the publisher of Western Standard, now out of business.

The objection of Islamists that discussions of Islam and Islamism – the latter being a totalitarian ideology – is offensive deserves contemptuous dismissal, not an investigation by the HRC at taxpayers’ expense.

The complaint by anyone – least of all Islamists as determined foes of liberal democracy – of being offended by the general robustness of free speech would be indicative that the complainant cannot distinguish between speech that could be construed as maliciously directed at an individual, or a group, and speech in all its variety and vigour that makes for free discourse in the media and academia.

Freedom comes with cost, and the cost of freedom of expression enshrined in Canada’s Charter of Rights and Freedoms is finding someone occasionally offended, yet this cannot be the basis for bridging or censoring the most fundamental right of an open society.  (Salim Mansur)

Another Muslim comes out swinging for free speech.  I particularly find this statement ridiculously simple but no less profound:  “freedom comes with a cost”.  In other words, it’s not free. It costs.  And that’s why liberals don’t really believe in freedom since they don’t believe they have to pay anything for it.  It consumes their whole perverse idea?  Free lunches for everyone and let the government pick up the tab.

The Washington Times ran a half-page news story on Ezra’s smackdown yestderday, placing it on page A2. Here’s the impressive screen shot:

Ezra asks:

Talk radio was very interested; I did seven interviews on Monday alone, from Calgary to New Brunswick. They ran big with the story, even though they could not show their audience any of the video footage. So why have TV stations (with the notable exceptions of Michael Coren’s show on CTS, and a forthcoming interview on TVO — both boutique programs) ignored the story? And in terms of newspapers, only the National Post has reported on the story. Many opinion columnists have weighed in on the subject — uniformly supportive, by the way — but there has been almost no reportage. (EzraLevant.com)

C’mon, Ezra. You know why they haven’t run it.  You are a conservative and therefore beneath protection. In fact, they will do everything within their power to smear conservatives and ignore any injustice perpetrated against us…no matter how heinous or outrageous.  That’s why your own publication, The Western Standard, hosted a little competition on media bias, did it not? And I have been maintaining my own little page on that here.   If they are biased in their reporting, it would not be surprising at all to see them completely ignore reporting on something that is so fundamental to their worldview of squashing the politically incorrect.

Consider the fraud perpetrated when the CBC was shocked to learn that not all Canadians approve of the devil exercise of ripping apart unborn children.  When their little FaceBook contest revealed that the majority of Canadians find the Sacrament of Sexual Debauchery, abortion, rather unacceptable, they chose  to keep the wraps on extensive dissemination of that uncomfortable fact.

In clip #2 of the InTerrorgation, Ezra picks out what Citizen McGovern was trying to do to him in establishing intent.  He said she “was hunting”. Hunting to see if any politically incorrect speech was breached.  And really, that’s what ALL of the media in this country do too.  They are like wild dogs hunting for conservative meat at any costs, even if that cost is ignoring the demolition of the foundation on which their profession was built.  How else can we explain the orgasmic attention they paid to Juliet O’Neil, an ubra-liberal reporter with the Ottawa Citizen, when her freedoms were allegedly encroached upon, yet an almost complete blackout in Ezra’s case?

Answer: one’s a liberal and one’s not.

In other words, there are two effective laws and sensibilities in this country: one for the liberals and another one for us white conservative (mostly male) niggers.  How long these fools on the Left think this is going to continue is anyone’s guess, but the reality says that it won’t be too long before some pretty nasty things start to happen.

At least two Anglican women priests have become Roman Catholics because they are “fed up with being treated like dirt in their own Church,” according to Fr Michael Seed, the Franciscan friar who is ecumenical adviser to Cardinal Murphy-O’Connor.

Fr Seed – a deeply inspiring priest who has received many Anglicans into communion with Rome – reveals this extraordinary detail in an interview with the Independent, which has buried it away in a feature. He received two women himself – and has now told the Catholic Herald that other female priests have come over to Rome as a result of “persecution”.

In the forthcoming issue of the Herald, Fr Seed tells my colleague Simon Caldwell: “There are other Catholic priests who have dealt with cases like this. Anglican women priests are generally upset at the way they are being treated … This is hardly the Third Secret of Fatima. The persecution of women priests is well known among Anglican clergy, bishops and laity.”

Interestingly, many women clergy in the Church of England would agree with Fr Seed, even if they are not tempted to take the radical step of becoming Catholic laywomen.

Christina Rees of Women and the Church says: “Every woman who is ordained as a priest in the Church of England knows in one sense there is still a question mark hanging over her orders in a way which does not hang over the order of her male colleagues.”

Catholics, incidentally, would disagree with this last claim. There is no question mark hanging over the orders of any Anglican priest – at least, not according to Pope Leo XIII (Source)

Buhaahaaaaaa. But, but, the Catholic Church is the greatest oppressor of women, don’t you chicks know that?!?!?!

There was an email making the rounds in Ottawa this week.  It was written by an assistant to a federal Conservative Member of Parliament.  I don’t know the assistant’s name, or which MP he (or she) works for, but it doesn’t really matter.  The note was sent around to all the other assistants in Conservative MP’s offices.  It was a simple request, really:

Good afternoon everyone,
I am wondering if someone might be aware of an issue with the Canadian Human Rights Commission???  I have received a few emails from constituents complaining about the HRC and I don’t know whether this is just a blanket complaint or whether HRC was recently in the news….?
Can anyone help me shed some light on what this issue might be about???
Thanks so much for your help!

I was absolutely stunned when I saw this email.  I had always assumed that people who worked for – and advised – MP’s would be “up to speed” on issues of national importance, and in my mind there are few things more important in Canada today than the threats the various human rights commissions pose to free speech rights.  But the email also illustrates what I’ve long suspected.

While the Internet is becoming a very interesting place for people of like mind to share information, it is also keeping various parts of our society from truly talking to one another.  Conservatives, Christians, libertarians, and other free speech advocates can write insightul blog entries till the cows come home.  And through the technology of trackbacks and “links” we can be inspired by each other’s brilliant posts for days on end.  We can even email the stuff we really like to our friends.  But in the end, we’re operating in a closed circle. We’ve created an online ghetto, and all the rhetorical and polemic brilliance in the world ends up being nothing more than “preaching to the choir.”  (NoApologies.ca)

Nah. It’s more the case that our politicians (and their political groupies), in particular, the so-called conservative ones, have their collective heads up their arses.  It only goes to show how these people are so far removed from what’s going down on the ground that it is starting to threaten the very fabric and foundation of all our western institutions. What politicians today are most concerned about is their image and blowing with the wind.  This explains why our country is in such a mess right now. We need to dump these fools and put authentic democrats who know how to use the internet in their place.  These Luddites. Just. Have. To. Go.

Three Muslim women in Canada have filed a human rights complaint against Syed Soharwardy, the Alberta-based imam who brought publisher Ezra Levant before the Alberta Human Rights Commission after Mr. Levant’s magazine republished the Danish Muhammad cartoons…. Mr. Soharwardy denies the charges, stating, “I am one of the biggest proponents of women’s rights in Canada’s Islamic community.” The imam also told The Washington Times that the women are wives of men who tried to “hijack” the mosque over sectarian differences.
“These three women are subject to their husbands, who are my enemies in the mosque, and who put them up to it,” Mr. Soharwardy said. “We are Sufi, they are Wahabbi.”  (Washington Times)

Hey look everyone!  At least we have some MSM in the U.S. (of course) covering the Jackboots up here in Canada.   Don’t count on Canadian Pravda to say anything about it.

As far as this particular story goes, I hope people are realizing the potential encroachments of the Thugs in religious affairs.  I am waiting for these fascists to march down the centre aisle of my Church and install their priestess who will extoll the virtues of feminist thinking.

If that happens, prepare for an ugly scene.  We all know that the Left abhors self defense so that might be our last resort.

Dear friends:
For those of you who don’t know the whole story. In the spring of 2002 I led a group of Godly protesters on a weekly vigil at Regina Planned Parenthood (RPP). During this vigil we called attention to Planned Parenthood International’s (Regina Planned Parenthood is part of IPP) direct involvement in surgical abortions and RPP’s involvement in abortion referral and chemical abortion by giving abortificient Morning After Pills. We also denounced their amoral and unhealthy sex education program and called on their clients to repent of fornication and abortion and turn to Christ that their sins may be forgiven.

Seeing as I was the leader of this weekly vigil and the most outspoken RPP targeted me. First they called the police and tried to have me arrested. When this failed they went after my nursing license. The pro-abortionists at the Saskatchewan Licensed Practical Nursing Association were quite happy to oblige Planned Parenthood’s request I be censored for my off work pro-life activities.

They found a pro-abortion adjudicator named Jamie Struthers and had a farce of a trial. God did many amazing things during that trial. An RN called me up and put her job on the line to testify in my defense. She exposed Dr George Carson’s (RPP’s Medical Director) involvement with sadistic treatment of aborted children. She testified under oath Dr Carson would grab late term aborted babies by the head and start shaking them. She testified some of these babies came out alive and would cry before they were suffocated or bled to death.

Bill Whatcott exposed many of RPP’s lies. The Director Barbara McWatters of RPP made a number of ridiculous statements under oath. She claimed late term abortions don’t take place in Canada and my side revealed her own Medical Director was committing them in Regina General Hospital. In spite of the RPP testimony being thoroughly discredited and RPP being thoroughly exposed as being part of Canada’s and PPI’s baby killing and sexual perversion apparatus I was found guilty of “slandering” Planned Parenthood. I slandered them according to Jamie Struthers because I called them baby killers and accused them of being part of the problem with the spread of Aids/ HIV through their promotion of condoms and sexual promiscuity.

Even though my activities were off work and I never represented myself as a nurse at RPP, Struther’s found me guilty of professional misconduct fined me $15,000 and suspended me indefinitely until I paid the fine. My lawyer Tom Schuck appealed this dreadful decision and the Canadian Civil Liberties Association intervened on my side.

Yesterday I received word the fine and suspension was overturned by the Saskatchewan Court of Appeals. I can go back to nursing if I wish and more importantly this case can be used by any of Canada’s professions as a precedent for freedom of speech and religiously based conscientious objection. Christians and other moral Canadians, Dentists, Teachers, Doctors, Lawyers as well as Nurses can reference my case if they are bullied by their professional organizations as a result of a stand they take on a moral issue during their time off work.

Thank you Jesus!
Bill Whatcott

During part 3 of his inTerrorgation, Ezra stated the obvious about the animosity, distain and, yes, even hatred that many in the West feel towards Islamicist aggression. This animosity and suspicion is not fueled by a silly cartoon, but rather by the murderous and terrorist actions of this movement.

It’s radical Muslims who blow things up, who torch my Synagogue, who file nuissance lawsuits. They are the ones who make people hate Muslims. (1:15-1:27)

This is the kind of video that comes out of a reaction to the murderous assaults on innocent people and, to a lesser extent, an attack on our freedoms. If we want to avoid what this will lead to, then we must stand up for our inalienable rights and not let them be suppressed by HRCs which will only fuel the contempt. Caveat Emptor.

Warning: vulgar language used.

We’ve been all feasting on the Levant & Steyn shakedown of the Star Chambers, but let us not forget that Ron Gray, the leader of the Christian Heritage Party, has to appear in front of the kangaroo zoo also.  No, there’s no typo in that.  They are indeed going after a political party too. They are not stopping at Media Publications.  Everything is free game for the speech pimps at the HRCs.

For those of you uninformed, click here to get the dirt.
